Polish company has a patent on how to invest in Africa. "A model example"
  • - Africa's economic potential is still not fully discovered by investors from Europe - says Anastase Shyaka, Ambassador of the Republic of Rwanda to Poland.
  • Poland has a large technological potential needed in Africa. The Polish company has achieved success on a continental scale.
  • Anastase Shyaka participated in the 17th European Economic Congress in Katowice , as part of EEC Talks.

- A strong economy is one that is able to expand abroad on a large scale - emphasized Anastase Shyaka, Ambassador of the Republic of Rwanda to Poland, during the EEC Talks at the 17th European Economic Congress .

In his statement, the diplomat noted that there is still a large area in Africa to be developed by European investors . Less than 2 percent of trade takes place with African countries. In the case of the entire EU, this exchange is only 15 percent. This is not much, if we consider that internal trade in the Community is at the level of 80 percent.

Poland has the appropriate technological know-how with which it can invest in Africa

This is an extremely large potential that can be developed. According to the ambassador, Polish know-how is very large, and the reception of our country in Africa is positive, because it has no colonial history.

Poland is already present in East Africa . - The investment of the Polish company Luma Holding in Rwanda in tin mining is an exemplary European investment - said Anastase Shyaka.

Polish company contributes to technological transformation in Africa

100% of the company's operations are carried out locally. In this way, the Polish company is contributing to the transformation of the mining process in Rwanda. 6 years ago, when the company started its operations, all trained employees came from Europe. Currently, the company is fully supported by local staff.

Poland may invest in sectors that are important from the perspective of Rwanda in the areas of agriculture (including processing), engineering, and technology.
